PLB-15 steps to effective and exciting Bible study 4

I'm pretty certain you've been enjoying this series... It keeps getting better so be sure  be sure to follow it through till the end. Enjoy!

12. Have a good command of the native language you're studying in. As already stated, relevant study materials in the language you best comprehend must be at your beck and call. The Bible is not only the number one spiritual study material ever, it's also the finest and most sublimely written intellectual material ever. As you study it, you should have a better command of words, poem and language generally but kick off with at least a basic understanding of the language you best understand.

13. Get some Bible apps on your phone. Here's what I mean, I've got this Bible app, and everyday they send me a mail of a verse of the Scripture and I have at times found myself completely dive into the Scriptures simply because of the Scripture snippet I received. It's quite lovely.
Also, follow these Scripture pages on your social media handles; IG, FB, TW, etc. Any and everything to keep you abreast (and obsessed) with the Scriptures.

14. Join Bible study groups... from cell meetings to chatting or sliding in your fellas dms for tea time with the Word,  to lunch with the Word, camp with the Word, Pizza and ice cream with the Word (I love this one😉). Have camaraderie with the Word and others, feel at home with experimenting with the Word. Make it a round table discussion and don't make it unwholesome or argumentative in nature and y'all be sincere with yourselves that y'all wanna know the Word better on a subject- before you know it, your lives will keep making progress and your group will keep increasing. The Word always causes these things to happen.

15. Work the Word... Whatever you're learning from the Word no matter how fun and awesome it is you gotta execute, like go out there and do, act, live, be what the Word says. This is the only way to have complete impact of the Word in your life and keep the inspiration for more study.

Tbc...

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He ...

The Noble

Who is a noble person? Through Scripture references and inferences we'll embark on a journey that seeks to define and show us who God deems to be a noble person and why being one is an absolute no brainer, especially in this present noble-starved age. Pls note- the opinions presented in this article are derivations from the Scriptures and not a carnal fabrication or mere mental or cultural estimation of the author. You can look em up yourself to confirm the assertions and/or suggestions. The term noble/nobleman appears 40 times in the King James version of the Bible but it was first used in Exodus24:11 to describe certain "elders" who were to work alongside Moses in leading, guiding and directing the people of Israel according to the desires of God. Point to note is they were "leaders" and men of high repute often in the classification of princes and rulers over other people. So, if you're over anyone in leadership you're actually a noble save t...

Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this. The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that way😶😇. When we were done with the project that brought us together, I offered to take us to an icecream spot- it would probably be the last time we were seeing so it was my way of saying "thanks". There I told her how I had felt about her when I first saw her and she was somewhat unsurprised and sa...
