PLB's #thankyoutuesdays

At PLB, Tuesdays are for "thank yous". You just choose someone in your world and tell them a very heart felt "thank you" for whatever good it is they add to your life. It could be your parents, spouse, siblings, kids, colleagues, the janitor at work, the food vendor in the neighbourhood, your barber or even a distant friend. Plan it and call or text to tell 'em thanks. They'll love ❤ it!

Today our thanks goes to Joyce Meyer. We might not be able to reach her to tell her personally at the moment but the truth is she's inspired and blessed us so much with the Word of God and a somewhat motherly approach to teaching the Word.

Joyce Meyer is the author of many books which include; Battlefield of the mind, The Confident Woman, Unshakeable Trust and a host of other glorious books.
She's also the host of the world renowned "Enjoying Everyday Life" TV programme, where she teaches Scripture in a humorous and truly enjoyable way.
She also emphasises on how God, despite her sad background of sexual abuse uses her life as an inspiration to all.

Her emphasis in her teachings is enjoying the life of the Word here on earth.
What a blessing she's been to the world for Christ! And all of us at the PLB say a big "thank you" to Joyce, we love you!

You can send us a mail if you'd like someone you know to be featured on PLB's "Thank you Tuesdays" and don't forget to send their picture and article and why you're celebrating them.
Thank you,
PLB Editorial Team.

Proverbs  16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Most people tell others about their plans first even before they remember to tell God". It's so true, I've found out most times people have opinions, but God never has an opinion, God has direction. People have opinions, God has direction. While speaking with a friend yesterday, she recalled how some people had tried to talk her down/out from doing something, and I felt well, people always have opinions, and like David Ologbonori, a life-coach posited, " Opinions are cheap, they are everywhere, and they can be wrong". While I thought about the fact that sometimes people tell others about their plans before God, I thought to myself "why should a man inform others about what he wants to do even before the waymaker Himself?"😏. This doesn't mean you can't talk to "destiny-helpers", or " dreams investors ", but it has to do with who you give p...

The Noble

Who is a noble person? Through Scripture references and inferences we'll embark on a journey that seeks to define and show us who God deems to be a noble person and why being one is an absolute no brainer, especially in this present noble-starved age. Pls note- the opinions presented in this article are derivations from the Scriptures and not a carnal fabrication or mere mental or cultural estimation of the author. You can look em up yourself to confirm the assertions and/or suggestions. The term noble/nobleman appears 40 times in the King James version of the Bible but it was first used in Exodus24:11 to describe certain "elders" who were to work alongside Moses in leading, guiding and directing the people of Israel according to the desires of God. Point to note is they were "leaders" and men of high repute often in the classification of princes and rulers over other people. So, if you're over anyone in leadership you're actually a noble save t...

Peace, Soundness of Mind

2 Timothy  1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. " I'm a firm believer that one of the most vital if not the most vital aspect of the human health is the mental health. Its so important to have a mind that's put together. A lot of times, there are challenges that come our way which test our mental capacity and strength, some times they are quite overwhelming, making it seem like we just need to go somewhere solitary to have a "cool off", however the scriptures promises something quite lovely. God says to those who accept Him in their lives, He has given "... a sound mind" , the phrase "sound mind" is translated from the Greek word "Sophronismos", which means " a mental state well balanced with accurate judgement". This is the kind of mind you have in Christ. A mind configured to make accurate and sound judgement, a mind that's in the rest of God. Most i...
