Wisdom, Not a function of Age

Job  32:9 "Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment."

Wisdom is a very essential ingredient in the meal of life. It has saved many from untimely death, wrong decisions, preserved lives, opened doors, and a host of many beneficial things. However, often identified with "age & experience" has become a seeming mystery in understanding. The scripture above gives a snippet into the proper understanding of it, it says "Great men are not always wise:neither do the aged understand judgement", this means " wisdom is not a function of age". Checking the previous verse before Job32:9, you see the scriptures telling us what the inspiration of the Almighty does to the spirit of man. Wisdom is an influence of God on the human spirit. Wisdom is taking steps that God leads you to, there is no wisdom outside God. We see from the life of King Solomon that wisdom truly comes from God. So to walk in wisdom, you must first know God, because to know God is to know wisdom. Make deliberate steps to walk in wisdom today by getting to know God more. Do have a great day ahead. Count the Cost

Luke  14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? I'd never forget a knowledge I got in my Economics class while I was in my Pre-degree programme in 2013. The lecturer asked "what comes first, consumption or production?", without any hesitation, everyone shouted " Production ". The lecturer looking at us unsatisfied with some subtle grin on his face, asked " why?" , a guy raised his hand confidently, got up and said " because we produce before consumption can take place", the lecturer laughed, and we all for a minute looked bemused with certain indistinct chatters here and there, after some minutes, the lecturer called the young man and asked "so what happens when you produce and there's no one to consume it", and for about some few seconds, there was a seeming silence in the hall, you could hear a pin drop. The loud silence was fol...
