Do not journey into unbelief

Matthew  6:7 "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."

Have you ever had someone tell you to do something, and you said 'no', then the person tried to convince you with much speaking afterwards, and then you probably told the person, ''dear, no matter how much convincing you do, I'm still not doing that thing ". That becomes a root decision, no longer surface, it becomes a decision you take not because of that person but because of who you are.

This is the exact scenario our scriptural context talks about. Don't find yourself journeying into unbelief, when you pray or ask God for something, don't believe talking too long about it to God will convince God to grant your request, when you ask once, believe it's done, and then stay in faith, however you can still talk about that same thing later to God not as a request but a communication of thanksgiving to strengthen your faith but not to convince God, because God answers prayers that are prayed according to His will. The point here is do not spend too long talking about one particular request to God, a prayer at once is as powerful as a prayer prayed many times. The only kind of prayer that requires frequent praying on a matter is the prayer of intercession, and that's because you're praying for someone else, but when it has to do with you, one request is enough, what you do after such prayer is constant thanksgiving to keep your faith alive. Don't find yourself journeying into unbelief, some people have felt God doesn't answer prayers because they haven't seen a manifestation of their requests despite praying for long, after your request, begin giving of thanks, and watch God make everything beautiful in its time. Do have a lovely day ahead.😎

Proverbs  16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Most people tell others about their plans first even before they remember to tell God". It's so true, I've found out most times people have opinions, but God never has an opinion, God has direction. People have opinions, God has direction. While speaking with a friend yesterday, she recalled how some people had tried to talk her down/out from doing something, and I felt well, people always have opinions, and like David Ologbonori, a life-coach posited, " Opinions are cheap, they are everywhere, and they can be wrong". While I thought about the fact that sometimes people tell others about their plans before God, I thought to myself "why should a man inform others about what he wants to do even before the waymaker Himself?"😏. This doesn't mean you can't talk to "destiny-helpers", or " dreams investors ", but it has to do with who you give p...

Peace, Soundness of Mind

2 Timothy  1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. " I'm a firm believer that one of the most vital if not the most vital aspect of the human health is the mental health. Its so important to have a mind that's put together. A lot of times, there are challenges that come our way which test our mental capacity and strength, some times they are quite overwhelming, making it seem like we just need to go somewhere solitary to have a "cool off", however the scriptures promises something quite lovely. God says to those who accept Him in their lives, He has given "... a sound mind" , the phrase "sound mind" is translated from the Greek word "Sophronismos", which means " a mental state well balanced with accurate judgement". This is the kind of mind you have in Christ. A mind configured to make accurate and sound judgement, a mind that's in the rest of God. Most i...

PLB Editorial- Confessions 201

Just a few words... James 3:2-3(Amplified translation) For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature. If we set bits in the horses' mouths to make them obey us, we can turn their whole bodies about. We must never disesteem the power of words, we can steer our lives (our entire course of existence) in the direction we choose with our words. The Scripture above claims that if (and it's possible) we can master our tongue (master words), then we are a perfect and fully developed spiritual entity able to determine the circumstances and results of our being. Mehn! Use words rightly on yourself and others and watch your life beam with incredible supernatural radiance. You can proclaim the words below: I live a supernatural life everyday I am in the class of almighty G...
