Exceptionalism is a fruit of an addiction to excellence. Well, while it's so true there is grace, however, there is also "personal excellence". Excellence is and should be the standard for anyone who chooses to go far. Excellence brings exceptionalism which then leads to a unique brand. It's so sad that most people have thrown the culture of excellence to the winds at the expense of just making "ends meet" even if it requires cutting corners to get a job done. As a person, I value excellence even than finishing a job "on-time". While " Timeliness" is a very good value to have, "Excellence" is quite different, it's unique, Excellence is you when you have it. I remember couple of days ago, I was "doing" dishes, I had finished and left the Kitchen, then I remembered, while I cleaned the sink, it seemed there was a spot a drop of water was on and I hadn't cleaned it, now I could have assumed, oh a spot or drop of water will dry in no time, I couldn't help but go back and then cleaned that drop of water which already was already drying up, then it dawned on me that my zeal for excellence could just not be curtailed even in little things. Are you a person who says "see I've tried my best, I can't kill myself", or someone who goes for excellence even if it calls for the last ounce of breath. The Bible says after God created everything, " He saw that it was good ". This is Excellence. Look into this
