Abundance,never an avenue for wastage!

John 6:12(NIV) " When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." "

When you study the scriptures carefully, you'd notice God has a strong opposition to waste, nevertheless He is a God of abundance, yet He still doesn't tolerate waste. The scripture above is the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes, after He had fed the people with the bread and fish, the Bible records there were still 12 baskets left, now naturally anybody who just witnessed such miracle could just have apathy towards the left over, but Jesus immediately tells the disciples to pack the left over, God would not allow any waste, this was an immediate caution from God to them to never tolerate any space for waste. The disciples must have thought to themselves, "we've eaten to our full, what do we need these fragments for again?" But God wasn't going to give room for waste, how true this is, sometimes we are so overwhelmed by how much we have that little fragments don't matter to us, this ought not to be so. Reminds me of a Pastor who said He had prayed fervently for Months to God for more increase in the finances of the Church, He said he became shocked when He seemed He got no answer, then God told him to check a particular aspect of the Church's finances which was making them lose monies, he said then he noticed how much the Church had lost, then as he stopped that wastage, he said the financial increase that followed could not be explained. Abundance is never an avenue for wastage. Do have a great day.

Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this. The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that way😶😇. PLB Editorial- Cheers 🍻 to life!

Jesus, while speaking to listeners in John 6 talked of them eating his flesh and drinking his blood and how this would forever quench their hunger and thirst. Most of the people who heard this couldn't receive it, it seemed as if Jesus was trying to initiate them into some cult where they'd all be required to be cannibals. Yet Jesus, unapologetic as He always was didn't even try to break it down to their understanding, instead He said "those who hear and learn from my Father come to me". On that day some of His disciples left Him, citing how His teaching and doctrine was too controversial and hard to take. Howbeit none from the popular 12 left. Fast forward to 1Corinthians11:24 and Paul is reiterating the events of the Jesus' last supper with His disciples as He received it from God. Jesus used those words again "this is my body" and "this is the cup of the new testament in my blood" and required of us to break and eat and also to drink. ...
