Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this.
The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that wayπŸ˜ΆπŸ˜‡.
When we were done with the project that brought us together, I offered to take us to an icecream spot- it would probably be the last time we were seeing so it was my way of saying "thanks". There I told her how I had felt about her when I first saw her and she was somewhat unsurprised and said she got that a lot from people. I apologised and we laughed it off but not without offering her an advice which was to smile more often at random- maybe that'll help her seem more approachable.
We need to know God too. We run the risk of stereotyping even God if we don't know Him personally. Not just what momma taught us while growing up or what we think should be how God is. We're never gonna understand why and how He reasons and does things the way He does em if we don't take out time to study and find out more about Him through the Scriptures.
Just the way an awkward degradation of relationship happens when there's no communication we may even begin to question His existence if we don't fellowship with Him often. And He's designed life in such a way that no person can function at their optimum without Him.
And you know, He's the most interesting and fun person you'll ever hang out with and will reveal beautiful things to your heart on how to live life to the fullest! Hang out with Him more today through Bible study and meditation along with prayers accordingly.
I promise you, He'll ease up the process for you and you'll love it too much you'll never wanna leave!
Je t'aime,
Pastor Lams 😎 .

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He ...

The Noble

Who is a noble person? Through Scripture references and inferences we'll embark on a journey that seeks to define and show us who God deems to be a noble person and why being one is an absolute no brainer, especially in this present noble-starved age. Pls note- the opinions presented in this article are derivations from the Scriptures and not a carnal fabrication or mere mental or cultural estimation of the author. You can look em up yourself to confirm the assertions and/or suggestions. The term noble/nobleman appears 40 times in the King James version of the Bible but it was first used in Exodus24:11 to describe certain "elders" who were to work alongside Moses in leading, guiding and directing the people of Israel according to the desires of God. Point to note is they were "leaders" and men of high repute often in the classification of princes and rulers over other people. So, if you're over anyone in leadership you're actually a noble save t...
