PLB'S CONFESSIONS 104- JOY

Joy is an outburst of happy emotion. Joy is usually expressed outwardly in dancing, singing, jumping and sometimes crying (happy hot tears😭). Happiness is benign joy but joy is an eruption of happy vibes and juices which is expressed outwardly. You can be happy and keep it to yourself, but joy, you can't keep it to yourself, it'll take you over! Joy usually knows no bounds in it's expression.

As a Christian you already have this joy inside of you! (We blessed man, we blessed😊). Galatians5:22 declares that joy is a natural fruit (result) for God's kids. We don't pray or ask for it, we simply activate it from within by CHOOSING to be joyous! Dazall!

James1:2-3 says to COUNT IT all joy when we pass through diverse tests. This means it's a matter of choice for the Christian to be joyous, you can decide to consider it as bad or as an opportunity to grow and improve your life. This is not a case of "I'll be happy if things were going alright" kinda talk. This is a case of being joyous irrespective of what you're going through knowing that all things are working together for your good as God's child.

For the natural man challenges and trying times may make him miserable and even kill him but for God's kids the Bible calls challenges "tests", "trials", "bread". We absolutely outclass any and every challenge in might and wisdom and God is confident we've already won ever before the challenges began. So we are to be joyous IN the trying times and keep dancing and enjoying our lives.

You can affirm the joy of the Lord in you with these words below:

I'm a child of God
Therefore I have joy in my spirit as a spring
No lifeless, boring times with me
Heaven is in me, the joys of heaven are springing in me
I have joy unspeakable and full of glory at all times
No matter the challenges I go through, I have already won!
I won when Jesus won, so I've got my garment of praise on
And praising God in victory!!!
Hallelujah!

A bientot,
Pastor Lams πŸ˜Ž.

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He ...

The Noble

Who is a noble person? Through Scripture references and inferences we'll embark on a journey that seeks to define and show us who God deems to be a noble person and why being one is an absolute no brainer, especially in this present noble-starved age. Pls note- the opinions presented in this article are derivations from the Scriptures and not a carnal fabrication or mere mental or cultural estimation of the author. You can look em up yourself to confirm the assertions and/or suggestions. The term noble/nobleman appears 40 times in the King James version of the Bible but it was first used in Exodus24:11 to describe certain "elders" who were to work alongside Moses in leading, guiding and directing the people of Israel according to the desires of God. Point to note is they were "leaders" and men of high repute often in the classification of princes and rulers over other people. So, if you're over anyone in leadership you're actually a noble save t...

Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this. The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that wayπŸ˜ΆπŸ˜‡. When we were done with the project that brought us together, I offered to take us to an icecream spot- it would probably be the last time we were seeing so it was my way of saying "thanks". There I told her how I had felt about her when I first saw her and she was somewhat unsurprised and sa...
