5 Fun, Exciting and Impactful Things to do This Christmas Season πŸŽ…πŸŽ„.

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!
Christmas season is here again. And it's a time of celebration, joy and sharing.
Today, the PLB runs through a list of 5 very exciting and impactful things you could do this Christmas season to make it a very memorable one. Read on right below πŸ‘‡. Ho ho ho!

5. Travelling with family-
Going on pilgrimage to Jesus birthplace in Bethlehem with the entire family should be totally magical and also there are certain cities that absolutely look, feel and smell "Christmassy" during the Christmas season. The lights and decor, the smile on everyone's faces, the Santa Claus, the Carol concerts, and sometimes the snow; Santa Claus Village in Finland, Bondi Beach in Australia, New York, USA and Dublin, Ireland are few truly exciting places to be for all the fun and joys of Christmas celebration.

4. Games, games, and more games with family-
If you haven't mounted a Christmas tree 🌲and set up Christmas lights in the house by now, try doing so already and ensure you do it with the kids! They'll love it! On other days, play games such as racing, ice skating, car racing, paintball shooting, Carol trivias etc. Be creative and daring, be willing to play all the way! Or better still, go to parks where there are already several fun things waiting for you to enjoy.
Try these as well; cook together with the entire family, camping with family (be mindful of the weather), go to the movies with family, do a ballot and exchange gifts with family, do a Christmas-esque photo shoot with family etc.

3. Visit an Orphanage and donate with family/ Church-
If your church hasn't mentioned anything about donating for the less privileged in the area for Christmas, suggest it to the leaders and I'm sure they'll buy into the idea. God gave His Son and set off a chain reaction of giving all around the world at this time. So, go to Orphanage homes and other less privileged centres and give special Christmas presents to them. Ensure you take the kids along and have them hand over their presents by themselves as well. This is a most encouraging thing to do and will stay with the kids forever!

2. Visit Granny's-
You probably haven't seen grannies all year cause of work or school 🏫, etc. But guess what, you're on their minds ever so often and this season might be the best time to see them again and share some days with them. Having you around might be the best gift they'll have this Christmas, far beyond all the other gifts you'll give them. Also, take the kids along! Every child loves the grannies 😊.

1. Help a neighbour-
Who's my neighbour? My neighbour is anyone in my sphere of contact/influence who's in need of help.
As earlier mentioned, visit an orphanage home if you can, remember other sets of less privileged people among us and reach out to make this Christmas one of joy for them. Also, take note of persons in your neighborhood who may have had a really tough and rough year in their jobs, health, family etc and find out how you can be of help to that one. Sometimes, a complementary card to a sick person could mean so much. Or you could even offer to help with the bills, share food etc to anyone around you who's struggling in some way. Whatever you do, be a blessing to someone who doesn't even expect anything from you this Christmas.

There you go with the top 5 fun and most impactful things to do this Christmas season. And from all of us at the Pastor Lams Blog 😎,  Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! πŸŽ„πŸŽ…

Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this. The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that wayπŸ˜ΆπŸ˜‡. When we were done with the project that brought us together, I offered to take us to an icecream spot- it would probably be the last time we were seeing so it was my way of saying "thanks". There I told her how I had felt about her when I first saw her and she was somewhat unsurprised and sa...
