PLB-The Gospel of Jesus 2

Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

So, Abraham was such a huge figure in Jewish tradition. God actually began the entire nation of Israel through him. He's still so huge it is said that all the three major faiths in the world today hold him in the highest esteem.

God blessed him so much and made Him so great and it's amazing to see that the words God blessed him with actually came to pass and still work today. Everybody likes to be associated and identified with the blessing of Abraham because it's such a high one such that it is largely believed that the Jews, Abraham's descendants, are perhaps the richest and wealthiest people in the world today. We as Christians however enjoy a much greater and blessing than what the natural Jews enjoy. We'll talk about that some other time.

Genesis 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

In the new testament, Jesus is referred to as the seed of Abraham and we're told that anyone who belongs to Jesus is automatically a total beneficiary of the blessings of Abraham.

Galatians 3:29 And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

This means for everyone that accepts Jesus as Lord of their lives, they are heirs and beneficiaries of the Abrahamic blessings. This is why we prosper all the time, no matter what we're involved in we always come out on top and as winners. We even become famous without forcing it and begin trends and inventions that last forever! Our businesses last and are super profitable forever, our innovations and inventions are many and last and are relevant forever! And guess what, we're not confined to local success, we are globally successful! Every family and individual in the world is influenced and impacted and blessed by us, just like Jesus!

Great news eh? That's why we preach this gospel, the love of Christ compels us to bring more and more people into this light as we change the world together!

Yours in service,
Pastor Lams 😎.

The Noble

Who is a noble person? Through Scripture references and inferences we'll embark on a journey that seeks to define and show us who God deems to be a noble person and why being one is an absolute no brainer, especially in this present noble-starved age. Pls note- the opinions presented in this article are derivations from the Scriptures and not a carnal fabrication or mere mental or cultural estimation of the author. You can look em up yourself to confirm the assertions and/or suggestions. The term noble/nobleman appears 40 times in the King James version of the Bible but it was first used in Exodus24:11 to describe certain "elders" who were to work alongside Moses in leading, guiding and directing the people of Israel according to the desires of God. Point to note is they were "leaders" and men of high repute often in the classification of princes and rulers over other people. So, if you're over anyone in leadership you're actually a noble save t...

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He ...

PLB Stories presents: David- How Big is Your Stomach 2?

The PLB stories are a blend of God-inspired Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license). So seat back, relax, cappuccino and read away! David had a flash back of his early music days... The only thing or person If you may, David loved more than his music was the one who gave him the music- Yahweh. As a result David sang and played more about God and His revelations in his heart than he did anything else, like literally nothing came close... He didn't have affection for too many things- and the Lord was the all in all of his affections. He was often left alone with his father's sheep as his brothers hurried to the parade ground to join in the army processions. He loved the solitude, the gentle breeze and the sunset evenings, music came so naturally to him at such times, he never stressed his mind to compose great music but on such cool evenings it was even easier. He would compose and sing all evening till it was time to feed the sheep and then he would ...
