IN PERFECT CONTROL

Proverbs  25:28  "He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls."

One of the greatest test of an excellent personality is "self-control". Self-control is the ability to be in perfect mastery of your emotions and your mind. The scriptures likens a man without self-control to a city that is broken down and without walls. In ancient times and even now, no matter how strong a city was militarily, if the city had no walls, it was vulnerable and very open to attacks, this was why Jericho's strongest defense was her walls. So when the Bible likens a "city without walls" to one who has no self-control it gives a picture of one who is vulnerable and open to attacks. 
 As a Christian, you must have self-control, do not be angered by everything, do not be infuriated by everything, do not spend time giving a "piece of your mind" to everyone until everyone now has a "piece of your mind"😅 . A man who has self-control has perfect control of his destiny. No matter the circumstance, if you should get angry about a matter, you should be in perfect control of yourself, and even yet, you shouldn't allow the sun go down over your anger. You must be able to get quick resolves in your spirit in a time of seeming fury. Jesus got angry but it was brief. Be in perfect control of your emotions and mind today, it's one of the trainings to mastering an excellent spirit. Do have a beautiful day friend.😘

Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this. The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that way😶😇. Count the Cost

  Luke  14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? I'd never forget a knowledge I got in my Economics class while I was in my Pre-degree programme in 2013. The lecturer asked "what comes first, consumption or production?", without any hesitation, everyone shouted " Production ".
