Never Late

Colossians  3:1 "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God."
3:2 "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."

As a Christian, one thing you should understand is that your focus must be different. Your focus must be on those things God has positioned for you. For example, one of the things God has set for you in Christ is constant victory(2Cor2:14), so you must set your priority & focus on seeing victory in every situation, you must not entertain any thought of failure. Well, you may say "Tobi, I've been trusting God for this certain thing in a long time and I haven't seen any positivity", well, it's not over until you win. Until you see the result of what you desire, you don't give up. God has a script written for you, you're like an Actor acting a script and in that script, its not over until you win. The truth about it is many of us give up too soon, we begin to set our focus on the possibility of that thing not happening again or the possibility of failure just setting in, oh No!, you must have a stubborn focus on the things above!. Have you ever watched a football match you expected your team to win, and you got up 90 mins to go when your team trailed 1-0, thinking your team had lost, and in the additional time given, your team equalizes, and then later wins the game, perhaps in extra time or penalties. Friend, in God there is always an " additional" time, that's the time your victory though had tarried manifests. Set your affection on victory, progress, and success. Its never ever over until you win!!!.

The Noble

Who is a noble person? Through Scripture references and inferences we'll embark on a journey that seeks to define and show us who God deems to be a noble person and why being one is an absolute no brainer, especially in this present noble-starved age. Pls note- the opinions presented in this article are derivations from the Scriptures and not a carnal fabrication or mere mental or cultural estimation of the author. You can look em up yourself to confirm the assertions and/or suggestions. The term noble/nobleman appears 40 times in the King James version of the Bible but it was first used in Exodus24:11 to describe certain "elders" who were to work alongside Moses in leading, guiding and directing the people of Israel according to the desires of God. Point to note is they were "leaders" and men of high repute often in the classification of princes and rulers over other people. So, if you're over anyone in leadership you're actually a noble save t...

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He ...

PLB Stories presents: David- How Big is Your Stomach 2?

The PLB stories are a blend of God-inspired Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license). So seat back, relax, cappuccino and read away! David had a flash back of his early music days... The only thing or person If you may, David loved more than his music was the one who gave him the music- Yahweh. As a result David sang and played more about God and His revelations in his heart than he did anything else, like literally nothing came close... He didn't have affection for too many things- and the Lord was the all in all of his affections. He was often left alone with his father's sheep as his brothers hurried to the parade ground to join in the army processions. He loved the solitude, the gentle breeze and the sunset evenings, music came so naturally to him at such times, he never stressed his mind to compose great music but on such cool evenings it was even easier. He would compose and sing all evening till it was time to feed the sheep and then he would ...
