Dare to Believe

John  20:25 "The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe."

The disciple, Thomas in the Bible is often mostly associated  with "doubting/unbelief",  nevertheless, I must really say almost anyone who had such a vivid encounter of the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross who saw Him die in such a vicarious manner would have doubted the same way, need I say, even the disciples who believed had to see Jesus physically before they believed that Jesus had truly risen. Now, the point here is after such witnessing of such a horrendous death, none of them could easily believe because of what they witnessed physically, even though Jesus had told them earlier He was going to resurrect.
 Sometimes, it's hard for us to believe certain things even after God has said certain specific things to us, a man who understand what happened at the crucifixion of Jesus for the disciples would definitely understand how Abraham must have felt during the period of the promises of God to him for a child, and how it took him a while to later fully believe.It was a period of experience vs promises, the exact same thing Thomas went through. We must align our belief system to the voice of God and not the physical experiences seen. We must always dare to believe despite physical experiences we might have that appear to seem too surreal to hang on. Always dare to believe!...God's promises are never late.

I'd never forget a knowledge I got in my Economics class while I was in my Pre-degree programme in 2013. The lecturer asked "what comes first, consumption or production?", without any hesitation, everyone shouted " Production ".
