The perfect way

John  13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

The identity of every Christian is love(agape), the God-kind of love, the love that holds no reason for its nature. The above scriptural context shows Jesus telling us how everyone would know we belong to Him.Its quite amazing that Jesus never mentioned by prayer, preaching, or even praise/worship shall all men know we belong to Him, He says "Love". This is just remarkable, it shows the priority God puts on Love, " agape", the love that holds no reason for its nature. In our everyday living, we must act towards others ingenuously, not necessarily having an attachment to it. No matter the duration or length of tongues you speak, if you don't love others ingenuously, there's no sign you're a Christian, no matter how "strong" your preaching is, love cannot be substituted. Love is acted, its shown. It's demonstrated. I love the picture the scriptures give us about the early church, He says they "broke bread from house to house with singleness of heart" (Acts2:46), this is remarkable!!!.This is the Church Christ came to establish, little wonder He says in verse 47, "He added to the church daily such as should be saved." I reckon what makes the body of Christ grow isn't preaching but love. Act love towards others today, take out time to consciously walk in love. How deep is your love?. Do have a lovely day ahead.πŸ˜€

The Noble

Who is a noble person? Through Scripture references and inferences we'll embark on a journey that seeks to define and show us who God deems to be a noble person and why being one is an absolute no brainer, especially in this present noble-starved age. Pls note- the opinions presented in this article are derivations from the Scriptures and not a carnal fabrication or mere mental or cultural estimation of the author. You can look em up yourself to confirm the assertions and/or suggestions. The term noble/nobleman appears 40 times in the King James version of the Bible but it was first used in Exodus24:11 to describe certain "elders" who were to work alongside Moses in leading, guiding and directing the people of Israel according to the desires of God. Point to note is they were "leaders" and men of high repute often in the classification of princes and rulers over other people. So, if you're over anyone in leadership you're actually a noble save t...

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He ...

PLB Stories presents: David- How Big is Your Stomach 2?

The PLB stories are a blend of God-inspired Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license). So seat back, relax, cappuccino and read away! David had a flash back of his early music days... The only thing or person If you may, David loved more than his music was the one who gave him the music- Yahweh. As a result David sang and played more about God and His revelations in his heart than he did anything else, like literally nothing came close... He didn't have affection for too many things- and the Lord was the all in all of his affections. He was often left alone with his father's sheep as his brothers hurried to the parade ground to join in the army processions. He loved the solitude, the gentle breeze and the sunset evenings, music came so naturally to him at such times, he never stressed his mind to compose great music but on such cool evenings it was even easier. He would compose and sing all evening till it was time to feed the sheep and then he would ...
