Breaking the edge

1 Corinthians  10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Addictions aren't bad, there are good addictions, and there are bad addictions. However, while virtually no one will like to stop a good addiction, almost everyone involved in a bad/negative addiction at some point in time will always look for how to stop. You can be addicted to anything, but once it becomes something against divinity, your health, and humanity, it becomes a cause of concern. The first thing to know in breaking addictions are "addictions are broken with other addictions". An addiction is an action that takes over the brain and could have an effect on the body over a period of time. If you're possibly struggling to stop an addiction, the first thing you must know is for you to stop an addiction, you must replace it with another, addictions thrive on repetition. However, often times its not so easy to stop addictions, especially when they are negative. The first basic thing to do is " Pray", the scripture above shows there's no temptation that's too strong to overcome you. Secondly, find someone to talk to, someone you can trust, talking about addictions is the first step to deciding to quit, there really is no shame in speaking out, it shows your strength. No addiction supersedes the will to quit, however, there is a process. Keep staying ahead✨✨✨

Proverbs  16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Most people tell others about their plans first even before they remember to tell God". It's so true, I've found out most times people have opinions, but God never has an opinion, God has direction. People have opinions, God has direction. While speaking with a friend yesterday, she recalled how some people had tried to talk her down/out from doing something, and I felt well, people always have opinions, and like David Ologbonori, a life-coach posited, " Opinions are cheap, they are everywhere, and they can be wrong". While I thought about the fact that sometimes people tell others about their plans before God, I thought to myself "why should a man inform others about what he wants to do even before the waymaker Himself?"😏. This doesn't mean you can't talk to "destiny-helpers", or " dreams investors ", but it has to do with who you give p...

Taking the Virtual edge

Psalms  133:1 "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" 133:2 "It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;" The beauty of Christianity is in fellowship. Well, due to certain 'developments' around the globe, there's been restrictions on public gatherings, however, this should never put an embargo on fellowshipping with one another as Christians. I've often thought to myself, the internet came at the very right time, the internet is for the advantage of believers. Now, with the internet, we can reach much more people with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Some people, otherwise who wouldn't have come to Church physically might most definitely stumble on a Christian event online and then believe in Jesus. I heard of a lady who didn't go to Church because she was of a different religion and being afr...
