Response-bility

Luke  12:48 "...For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."

 

Did you ever watch "Spider-Man"?. A line in that classic that mostly rings in the mind of anyone conversant with the movie is the line, "...with great power comes great responsibility". This is truth. Even the Bible agrees to this. 

Ability leads to responsibility, responsibility calls for action. Whatever " edge" you have over others in a particular cause is for you to be a blessing. I saw somewhere where someone said even the Bible says "mind your business", I laughed so hard. You know, people oftentimes could try to " validate" whatever they feel or want to believe with places in the Bible they take out of context, I was once that way😅. Minding your business never has anything to do with helping others out when you are to. Until you have the care of others at heart, you will never get the fruits of humanity. God set the world on a system, you must give to have, you must be a blessing to others to be blessed. 

You must answer the call of responsibility. Any gift not harnessed with responsibility is a waste. You must use what you have to help. Do not just cross a road and see a child who has no one to help cross, and you act "blind", oh no! There is always something your ability has to contribute to the world daily.  Stay Responsible🙂

  Luke  14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? I'd never forget a knowledge I got in my Economics class while I was in my Pre-degree programme in 2013. The lecturer asked "what comes first, consumption or production?", without any hesitation, everyone shouted " Production ".
