The Optimist

 2 Kings  7:1  "Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria."


Optimism is one very important ingredient in every progress minded person. However, certain challenges and situations often times make it seem a little tough to stay optimistic. Nevertheless, a man who stays focused on the power of God to always make situations beautiful would never regret. The scripture above tells of a time in the history of Samaria where there was such an awkward famine, one that led to even people eating each other, however during such a nebulous quagmire, the Prophet Elisha gave a word from God that by the next day, there was going to be prosperity. It was quite hard to believe to the extent that someone even doubted and said "even if God were to open the windows of Heaven it would not happen", you should read the whole story yourself. Just the same way Samaria had a famine overturned, such is the power of God to turn in a sudden flash, a zero to a hero. You must stay optimistic, miracles belong only to the optimistic. A positive mindset programmes itself for sudden answers. Stay optimistic. Challenges come and go. Optimists always stay. Do have a fabulous mid-week 😎

Just a few words... James 3:2-3(Amplified translation) For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature.
