Mind your business!

 1 Thessalonians  4:11  "And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;"

One of the hallmarks of successful people is focus & minding their businesses. A lot of times people spend time intruding or prying to others' affairs, some say "I'm not gossiping but I just feel we should talk about what this person is doing". I love a particular instance in the scriptures where Jesus perfectly demonstrated minding one's business, Luke  12:14 "And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?". As a man on a journey of greatness, you don't need to meddle into the affairs of others, however this doesn't mean you keep quiet when others are suffering injustice, but when its got to do with other people's matter and your opinion isn't sought, stay away and focus on your own work. A man who has time to meddle into other people's affairs will not have time to grow his own business. Show me a man who meddles into everyone's business, and I'd show you a man heading for irrelevance and poverty. You must focus on your own work, as we start a new week, focus on your own business, and ignore meddling into matters that don't concern you. Also, in addition, keep busybodies away from you, a busybody will always infect you with a whole lot of negativity. Do have a fruitful week ahead as you mind and grow your business.

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. PLB Editorial- Cheers 🍻 to life!

Jesus, while speaking to listeners in John 6 talked of them eating his flesh and drinking his blood and how this would forever quench their hunger and thirst. Most of the people who heard this couldn't receive it, it seemed as if Jesus was trying to initiate them into some cult where they'd all be required to be cannibals. Yet Jesus, unapologetic as He always was didn't even try to break it down to their understanding, instead He said "those who hear and learn from my Father come to me". On that day some of His disciples left Him, citing how His teaching and doctrine was too controversial and hard to take. Howbeit none from the popular 12 left. Fast forward to 1Corinthians11:24 and Paul is reiterating the events of the Jesus' last supper with His disciples as He received it from God.
