The Christ identity!!!

 John  13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."


 The identity of every Christian is love(agape), the God-kind of love, the love that holds no reason for its nature. The above scriptural context shows Jesus telling us how everyone would know we belong to Him. Its quite amazing that Jesus never mentioned by prayer, preaching, or even praise/worship shall all men know we belong to Him, He says "Love". This is just remarkable, it shows the priority God puts on Love, " agape", the love that holds no reason for its nature. In our everyday living, we must act towards others ingenuously, not necessarily having an attachment to it. No matter the duration or length of tongues you speak, if you don't love others ingenuously, there's no sign you're a Christian, no matter how "strong" your preaching is, love cannot be substituted. Love is acted, its shown.It's demonstrated. I love the picture the scriptures give us about the early church, He says they "broke bread from house to house with singleness of heart" (Acts2:46), this is remarkable!!!.This is the Church Christ came to establish, little wonder He says in verse 47, "He added to the church daily such as should be saved." I reckon what makes the body of Christ grow isn't preaching but love.
  Act love towards others today, take out time to consciously walk in love. How deep is your love?. Do have a lovely day.

Apostle Peter- Running 1

And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. PLB Editorial- Cheers 🍻 to life!

Jesus, while speaking to listeners in John 6 talked of them eating his flesh and drinking his blood and how this would forever quench their hunger and thirst. Most of the people who heard this couldn't receive it, it seemed as if Jesus was trying to initiate them into some cult where they'd all be required to be cannibals. Yet Jesus, unapologetic as He always was didn't even try to break it down to their understanding, instead He said "those who hear and learn from my Father come to me". On that day some of His disciples left Him, citing how His teaching and doctrine was too controversial and hard to take. Howbeit none from the popular 12 left. Fast forward to 1Corinthians11:24 and Paul is reiterating the events of the Jesus' last supper with His disciples as He received it from God.
