Strive for excellence

Genesis  1:31 "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good..."

Exceptionalism is a fruit of an addiction to excellence. Well, while it's so true there is grace, however, there is also a big room for "personal excellence". Excellence is and should be the standard for anyone who chooses to go far. Excellence brings exceptionalism which then leads to a unique brand. It's so sad that most people have thrown the culture of excellence to the winds at the expense of just making "ends meet" even if it requires cutting corners to get a job done. As a person, I value excellence over finishing a job "on-time". While " Timeliness" is a very important value to have, "Excellence" is quite different, it's unique, Excellence is you when you have it. I remember couple of days ago, I was "doing" dishes, I had finished and left the Kitchen, then I remembered, while I cleaned the sink, it seemed there was a spot a drop of water was on and I hadn't cleaned it, now I could have assumed, oh a spot of water will dry in no time, but I just couldn't help but go back and then clean that drop of water which was already even drying up๐Ÿ˜…, then it dawned on me that my zeal for excellence could just not be curtailed even in little things. Are you a person who says "see I've tried my best, I can't kill myself", or someone who goes for excellence even if it calls for the last ounce of breath. The Bible says after God created everything, " He saw that it was good ". This is Excellence. Make this your standard. Enjoy your day๐Ÿ˜€

Proverbs  16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Most people tell others about their plans first even before they remember to tell God". It's so true, I've found out most times people have opinions, but God never has an opinion, God has direction. People have opinions, God has direction. While speaking with a friend yesterday, she recalled how some people had tried to talk her down/out from doing something, and I felt well, people always have opinions, and like David Ologbonori, a life-coach posited, " Opinions are cheap, they are everywhere, and they can be wrong". While I thought about the fact that sometimes people tell others about their plans before God, I thought to myself "why should a man inform others about what he wants to do even before the waymaker Himself?"๐Ÿ˜. This doesn't mean you can't talk to "destiny-helpers", or " dreams investors ", but it has to do with who you give p...

Taking the Virtual edge

Psalms  133:1 "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" 133:2 "It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;" The beauty of Christianity is in fellowship. Well, due to certain 'developments' around the globe, there's been restrictions on public gatherings, however, this should never put an embargo on fellowshipping with one another as Christians. I've often thought to myself, the internet came at the very right time, the internet is for the advantage of believers. Now, with the internet, we can reach much more people with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Some people, otherwise who wouldn't have come to Church physically might most definitely stumble on a Christian event online and then believe in Jesus. I heard of a lady who didn't go to Church because she was of a different religion and being afr...
