13-15 "One day children were brought to Jesus in the hope that he would lay hands on them and pray over them. The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus intervened: “Let the children alone, don’t prevent them from coming to me. God’s kingdom is made up of people like these.” After laying hands on them, he left."(MSG)
Though the verse above is mostly associated with Jesus talking about the kind of people the Kingdom of God is made up of. However, one important aspect we often overlook is Jesus was also teaching about 'receptiveness' and 'accommodation' here. Sometimes too many people out of 'fame' become unnecessarily hostile towards others. Some even maintain, they are being protected by security from harm, well, protection from harm doesn't equate being hostile towards people. I maintain Jesus was/is the most famous man to walk the face of the Earth, yet He showed a very accommodating demeanor. It also comes to those who sometimes feel too busy for just anybody. Well, while your time is precious, it should never be too precious to accommodate others sometimes. Some people might not be doing anything at that time, yet when approached by someone maybe to preach the gospel to them or Jehovah's witnesses, they say ''Please, I don't have time", isn't it funny people seem not to 'have time' when everything seems to be going good, but when there's a fix, you definitely would want to have time for everyoneπ . Don't be too 'busy' to accommodate people, some people have sent Angels away unawares, don't forget the scriptures says "...do not forget to entertain strangers for some have entertained Angels unawares". Are we saying "don't have preference for your time"?. Oh no, but you must have an accomodating spirit.
Do have a restful weekend ahead
