An encounter beyond the letters

Exodus  15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

Its very important to have a personal revelation and encounter with God. The scriptures above show Moses' testimony in songs and thanksgiving from coming to know God. Moses, a shepherd called by God to deliver the children of Israel from the onset had a divided opinion on whether following God or not, He tried as much as possible to push the responsibility to be used by God to someone else until God insisted on him. He embarked on the journey with some doubts, but after seeing the wonders God did through him against Pharaoh, and even seeing the same people he feared for many years drown in the sea right before his very eyes, his personal conviction about God became strengthened. I reckon the signs & wonders God did while bringing out the children of Israel out of Egypt were to strengthen Moses' faith than anyone else, because a leader not convinced cannot lead his followers. Moses' conviction through these signs could not be shaken, hence, even when the Israelites would "mess up", his faith was still standing strong and unshaken. Hence, he sang about it for years, his conviction was personal.

You must come to the level where you have a personal conviction of God, a personal encounter with God. A relationship beyond the letters of the Bible that cannot be shaken. Personally, no mater how much quietness it seems God has in our world today, I have come to the knowledge God exists and He still very much rules in the affairs of men, my faith can never be shaken, because it doesn't stand in the wisdom of men but in the experience of the power of God. Have an encounter beyond the letters.

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He ...

The Noble

Who is a noble person? Through Scripture references and inferences we'll embark on a journey that seeks to define and show us who God deems to be a noble person and why being one is an absolute no brainer, especially in this present noble-starved age. Pls note- the opinions presented in this article are derivations from the Scriptures and not a carnal fabrication or mere mental or cultural estimation of the author. You can look em up yourself to confirm the assertions and/or suggestions. The term noble/nobleman appears 40 times in the King James version of the Bible but it was first used in Exodus24:11 to describe certain "elders" who were to work alongside Moses in leading, guiding and directing the people of Israel according to the desires of God. Point to note is they were "leaders" and men of high repute often in the classification of princes and rulers over other people. So, if you're over anyone in leadership you're actually a noble save t...

Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this. The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that wayπŸ˜ΆπŸ˜‡. When we were done with the project that brought us together, I offered to take us to an icecream spot- it would probably be the last time we were seeing so it was my way of saying "thanks". There I told her how I had felt about her when I first saw her and she was somewhat unsurprised and sa...
