365 opportunities!

Psalms  90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

The beauty of a new year is the opportunity it brings for a "fresh start", otherwise ,it would just be another normal number of days. Someone posted a message on his timeline " Happy new year, I wish you good use of the 365 opportunities this year affords us", and I thought that's true, a wise man would see a new year as a fresh start for many opportunities. I love the scripture above, it's a Psalm of Moses when the Israelites had left Egypt, I'm pretty sure the Israelites would have had a lot of time to themselves in the wilderness, not being enslaved in Egypt anymore or working under the brutal whip of the Egyptian taskmasters, they definitely might not have had anything important to do with their time, out of this idleness, Moses says to God "...teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom" . Just look at that, Moses prays to God to teach them how to make use of their time, the term "number our days" is an accounting term, it means "plan our time", so Moses was saying "... teach us to plan our time". One of the greatest mistake you can make is making bad use of your time. Time wasted cannot be gotten back. It's a new year, a year with 365 days and 365 opportunities. Make great use of the opportunities in this year. Wishing you a Happy Sunday. πŸ™‹πŸ»‍

Proverbs  16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Most people tell others about their plans first even before they remember to tell God". It's so true, I've found out most times people have opinions, but God never has an opinion, God has direction. People have opinions, God has direction. While speaking with a friend yesterday, she recalled how some people had tried to talk her down/out from doing something, and I felt well, people always have opinions, and like David Ologbonori, a life-coach posited, " Opinions are cheap, they are everywhere, and they can be wrong". While I thought about the fact that sometimes people tell others about their plans before God, I thought to myself "why should a man inform others about what he wants to do even before the waymaker Himself?"😏. This doesn't mean you can't talk to "destiny-helpers", or " dreams investors ", but it has to do with who you give p...

Taking the Virtual edge

Psalms  133:1 "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" 133:2 "It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;" The beauty of Christianity is in fellowship. Well, due to certain 'developments' around the globe, there's been restrictions on public gatherings, however, this should never put an embargo on fellowshipping with one another as Christians. I've often thought to myself, the internet came at the very right time, the internet is for the advantage of believers. Now, with the internet, we can reach much more people with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Some people, otherwise who wouldn't have come to Church physically might most definitely stumble on a Christian event online and then believe in Jesus. I heard of a lady who didn't go to Church because she was of a different religion and being afr...
