Blessed

Psalms  16:6 "The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage." A man whose connected to God has a glorious heritage. Its an ancestry of greatness. King David in the understanding of this acclaimed that the lines are fallen unto him in pleasant places because he has a goodly heritage. 'Lines' here means portions, for example, if you were to share a land with someone, and the person took a part, and then you took another part, fortunately the part you now took, you discovered gold on that part of the land, you can say "the lines fell unto you in a pleasant place", meaning your portion of the land is a blessing. This is so incredible, its clear why Isaac dug and got water in a time of famine whereas others didn't. Friend, can this be true?. Yes it is!, emphatically yes!. A man connected to God has a glorious connection that makes things work for him. I always love that verse that says,  Daniel  11:32 "... but the peop

True Christianity

Luke  10:33 "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,.." "Spirituality" is never an immunity to the values of humanity. As a matter of fact, real spirituality respects humanity. The verse above is a part of the popular story of "the good Samaritan" . The amazing thing about this parable is that Jesus clearly gives a picture of "spirituality" and "humanity", you should read the story if you haven't read it. A priest and a levite had come earlier and saw the wounded man, and did nothing, but a Samaritan who passed by and was touched by his condition, attended to the man. Now, the Priest and Levite both represented people of God, they represented "God", so it was clear to everyone what Jesus was passing across. Likewise the Samaritan was not even one reckoned to be of God. When you study John 4, you'd find out how the Samaritans were perceived by the Jew

The Optimist

2 Kings  7:1  "Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria ." Optimism is one very important ingredient in every progress minded person. However, certain challenges and situations often times make it seem a little tough to stay optimistic. Nevertheless, a man who stays focused on the power of God to always make situations beautiful would never regret. The scripture above tells of a time in the history of Samaria where there was such an awkward famine, one that led to even people eating each other, however during such a nebulous quagmire, the Prophet Elisha gave a word from God that by the next day, there was going to be prosperity. It was quite hard to believe to the extent that someone even doubted and said "even if God were to open the windows of Heaven it would not happen", you should read the who

Friendship Circle

Proverbs  18:24  A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Have you ever heard someone say, "I don't have friends" or "I don't keep friends". Well, the answer to such statement is on the scriptural context above. Everything in life works with the seed principle. If you must be loved, you must sow love to others, if you must be blessed, you must bless others, if you must have friends, you must be friendly to others. The scripture above shows a man must be friendly with others to have friends. Friendship is very important, in the days of need ,you'd always need someone to rely on , or someone to rely on you. God created a social world, everyone needs somebody. No matter how valid your dreams are, you'd always need people to achieve them. Friends are important to dream fulfillment. However the fact that there are bad friends doesn't negate or nullify the importance of friendship.

Your ability

Philippians  4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Christ is a person and also a place. When you become a Christian, you receive a person and also at the same time, you come into a place, A place called Christ. In this place, i.e in Christ, lies all possibility and ability. You must understand as a Christian that whatever business or job you do, it must yield increase because Christ is also in that business as long as its a business that's in line with God's will. You have come to a place called Christ, this is a place where prosperity and endless possibilities are domiciled. Christ gives you the advantage and ace in your business sphere. In your job, you have the extra benefit. Nevertheless, this doesn't suggest any mindset of indolence on your path. You must put in effort to have the extra edge you have being manifest. Inculcate this mindset as you continue on your work, and know that all things are possible as long as Christ is wit

Life Guard ❤️

Psalms  91:1 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." 91:4 "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." As a believer, one thing you must come to agreement with is truly, God protects His own. Irrespective of whatever you hear others say, you must come into the agreement that God protects His own. You know some people usually would say, "well,if there really is a God, why did He allow that woman die, why did He allow that man die", well, God loved Enoch so much that He 'took' him, what about that?, God loved Moses so much that He told Moses it was time for Him to come to Heaven, what about that?. A lot of people have associated death with wickedness from God which should not be so. God's protection isn't deficient by a man's death. In the Psalm above, the Psalmist likens the protection of God like t

Do not journey into unbelief 🙂

Matthew  6:7 "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." Have you ever had someone tell you to do something, and you said 'no', then the person tried to convince you with much speaking afterwards, and then you probably told the person, ''dear, no matter how much convincing you do, I'm still not doing that thing ". That becomes a root decision, no longer surface, it becomes a decision you take not because of that person but because of who you are.  This is the exact scenario our scriptural context talks about. Don't find yourself journeying into unbelief, when you pray or ask God for something, don't believe talking too long about it to God will convince God to grant your request, when you ask once, believe it's done, and then stay in faith, however you can still talk about that same thing later to God not as a request but a communication of thanksgiving

The Prince of Peace!🙂

John  14:27  "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." If you're a good student of the WORD as you ought to be(2Tim2:15), you'd know what the above text scripture really means. The scripture above shows there really are two kinds of peace, the peace the world gives, and the peace Jesus gives. Many at times, people have often inferred peace to be the absence of trouble, well, but not entirely so, peace isn't really the absence of trouble, peace is the presence of Jesus, He is the Prince of Peace. There is such a peace a man can enjoy that the world gives, the man wouldn't be troubled, yet He won't be fulfilled, only Jesus gives the kind of peace, that brings fulfillment. HE said to us(His disciples), He leaves His peace with us. I'd like to give a little exposé on the Peace Jesus really gives. The story in (Mark 4:39) shows Jesus in the boat w

A glut of opportunities 😀

Ecclesiastes  11:6 "In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good." Many heresies hold in our world today, and one of such is the infamous saying "opportunities come but once". This is one of the greatest lies ever told in the history of mankind. Opportunities never come but once, however opportunities can be missed, but opportunities don't come but once, opportunities can come at anytime and everytime, in fact opportunities abound, all we have are mostly unprepared people. A prepared person can always create an atmosphere of endless opportunities for himself. Opportunities abound in our world today, all that's required is a prepared mindset to fertilize such opportunities when they arise to birth productivity and greatness. In addition, not all opportunities that look too good to be true are falsehood. For example, we live i

Stay Thankful. Happy Sunday!

1 Thessalonians  5:18 "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." God is good. He does good. There is no iota of wickedness in Him towards man. You know, a lot of people often times ask, "well, if God is good, why does He allow wicked things happen since He is omnipotent?". Some even make up their minds to just say, "God is just God, not necessarily good". Well, the answer to such questions I give to others is that God created the world but He's left it in the affairs of men, nevertheless creating standards for the world to revolve round. " God doesn't endorse wickedness, but the wicked would always meet their waterloo", which means He is good and therefore protects His own. So, a wise man would always give thanks to God for His goodness. God is good, it's not a cliché, it's a fact. He makes "good" the standard for the world. Irrespective of whatever happens, the good alway

Self-positivity

Proverbs  27:2 "Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips" The greatest criticism of you if there be any should come from you, the greatest praise of you should come from others; and not vice versa. The above scripture alludes to that. Never allow another man the right to pass the slightest inhumane remarks about you in any way, even your mistakes are your mistakes not their's, so no one is qualified enough to pass a"judgement" against you. This was the reason behind Jesus' response in John8:7. No matter how grave your past errors or "seeming present challenges" are,  only two people have the right to criticize or judge you(i.e God & You), and God won't criticize/judge you, He's your ever present Help(Ps46:1), don't criticize or judge yourself either because you need all the strength you can muster for your journey(Pro17:22). Stay in charge of your emotions. I believe this is why ladi

Dreams never die

Joel  2:28  "...your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" One of the most awe-striking piece I ever found in the Bible is the story of Moses before his call to deliver Israel. Think about this, Moses had a passion, a dream to deliver his people from oppression, he tried so hard doing it as a Youth, but nothing happened, in fact he fled Egypt. Now many years later, at the age of 80 when Moses was getting ready to retire in life, taking care of Sheep, He then hears this same God He must have felt should have helped him achieve his dream while younger call him to come and achieve that same dream, I want to believe, Moses must have been a little disappointed, hence he gave numerous excuses for not wanting to go anymore, if God came while he was younger, he most likely wouldn't have given any excuse. Moses, Moses, Moses, well you could understand him.😅 Well, this is quite incredible, the scripture above says "...your old men shall dream dream

Make a move!

Job  22:29  When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. Life is really about choices, and may I even say intentional choices, both the choices we make, the choices we don't make. When we make a decision, that's a choice, when we don't make a decision, that in itself is also a choice. The scripture above depicts the character life in itself takes. Eliphaz in his answer to Job, by the Spirit told Job, "when MEN are cast down, YOU shall say there is lifting up" , gives a picture of things affecting men generally, but you have a decision to single out yourself by claiming what you want to see for yourself. He tells Job, when others are cast down, you have a choice to say you are lifted up. How true this is, well on the flip side, when things happen generally to others around you, you can choose either of two things: 1. To either accept the same fate. 2. To consciously create a different atmosphere for yourse

Communicate life

Ephesians  4:29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." Communication is a vital aspect of our everyday life. Everyone communicates daily in his/her sphere of contact. Businesses are carried out based on communication. Issues are resolved with communication. Relationships are built on communication. The dealings of communication with the world on a daily basis are enormous. However, as great as communication is, there can be bad/corrupt communication. The scripture above illustrates the importance of the right kind of communication from the mouth. Any communication that is done with negative words will never have a lasting impact. For example, how do you seal a deal with a client using negative words?. Would that work?, and even if it did, will such client return again?. Corrupt communication definitely have no room in the daily life of a positive & progressive

Value Exchange

Matthew  7:6  "...neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you." Everyday of your life should be geared towards improving yourself, and as you improve yourself, you should also NOT shortchange yourself. A major challenge that holds in our world today is many don't understand the difference between self-confidence and pride. Pride and Self-confidence are two totally different things. As you develop yourself, you should exchange your value for nothing less, it doesn't matter how you're looked at, its not pride, its called self-confidence. Jesus says "cast not your pearls before swine" meaning do not give precious things to don't who don't value it. You must exchange value for value. You must give value to those when understand what you're bringing to the table, do not shortchange yourself. If you would discipline yourself to add value to yourself, you can discipline yourself no

Living Temples

John  2:19  "Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."  G od is the source of all wisdom. To know God is to know wisdom. Any 'wisdom' outside God is vague. In the old Testament, the people then were allowed to build a Temple to worship God in it because His presence wasn't everywhere, but God in His accurate wisdom, had a better plan coming up. He didn't want to dwell in buildings made by hands, He wanted to dwell in human beings. The verse above sheds more light on this when Jesus tells the pharisees who were all about killing Him, He told them to destroy 'this temple', and in three days, he'd raise it up, this is remarkable, Jesus was referring to His body, He called His body, temple. However the Pharisees hadn't had their wisdom updated, they were clung to the obsolete understanding of 'Temple'. It's important to know that every man is a potential temple for God to dwell, whe

Breaking the Edge 🙂💯

1 Corinthians  10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." Addictions aren't bad, there are good addictions, and there are bad addictions. However, while virtually no one will like to stop a good addiction, almost everyone involved in a bad/negative addiction at some point in time will always look for how to stop. You can be addicted to anything, but once it becomes something against divinity, your health, and humanity, it becomes a cause of concern. The first thing to know in breaking addictions are "addictions are broken with other addictions". An addiction is an action that takes over the brain and could have an effect on the body over a period of time. If you're possibly struggling to stop an addiction, the first thing you must know is for you to stop an a

Collective Mindedness

Luke  16:12  "And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?" One of the hallmark's of honesty & transparency is duplication. A man who's dishonest with another man's business will never get to the position where he'd have his. This is more of a system than its a 'curse'. For example, one of the attributes of a devoted worker in a company is 'time management', a  diligent worker manages his time judiciously to meet up with targets given, now, a worker who never manages his time well to meet up target deadlines would never have executed it even if the company was his. As a worker, or vision-sharer in an establishment, you must work and execute jobs as though the success and failure of that establishment depends on you. You must carry the "we" mentality and not "I", the moment you fizzle into being a weak link in that establishment, you set up yourself for

Dividends of loyalty

2 Samuel  9:1 And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?  In an age where everyone wants to be identified with "success", there seems to be the temptation to not want to be identified with any relationship perceived not to be heading towards 'success'. However, while it's good to associate with purpose driven people, it should also be noted that not everyone is at the same speed of reaching 'success' as the world measures it. True friendship is a test of any circumstance. The text above is a story of the true friendship between David and Jonathan at childhood level which would later culminate into indebtedness. David, having now being a King sought someone of Jonathan's household to show kindness, even though Jonathan was late, the friendship He and David shared wasn't late, David would call Melphibosheth and have him sit at the King's table. Such a story of true f

Seek insight🙂

Proverbs 20:5 "The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out." (NIV) Purpose gives credence to living. Nevertheless, it's not always easy sometimes in the journey to achieve purpose. The scriptures gives the picture of one who has purposes on the inside, one who is living for a cause. It says they are like "deep waters", but one who has " insight" draws them out. "Insight" here means information, it means the technical know-how a man has over another. The distance between purpose and purpose fulfillment will always be Insight. The Bible says "Go for wisdom", this is " insight". No dream can be fully actualized without proper information and insight. It says "...one who has insight draws them out". You must go for more information.   Also, when you get information, treat it with so much value, if you must part with information to another man, part with it AT A COST. If

Response-ability

Luke  12:48 "...For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."  Did you ever watch "Spider-Man"?. A line in that classic that mostly rings in the mind of anyone conversant with the movie is the line, "...with great power comes great responsibility". This is truth. Even the Bible attests to this.  Ability leads to responsibility, responsibility calls for action. Whatever " edge" you have over others in a particular course is for you to be a blessing to them. I saw somewhere where someone said even the Bible says "mind your business", I laughed so hard. You know, people oftentimes could try to " validate" whatever they feel or want to believe with places in the Bible they take out of context, I was once that way😅. Minding your business never has anything to do with not helping  otherso when you are to. Until you have the care of others at

Your Social Currency

Genesis  39:6 "And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured." Money doesn't really buy everything, there are some things purchased with " Favour", and this is so true. A perfect example of this would be Joseph, a man who clearly navigated his journey with nothing else but "Favour". A car may cost $1.5 million, but that car also costs " Favour ", a Phone may cost $1,000 but that Phone also costs " Favour".  Favour is a direct alternative to the cost of anything. However, Favour is a product of an influence of someone over another, this influence most times is unintentional, sometimes can be intentional, but the most important thing is that it is an influence. Your good labor over people is a seed in their lives, the labor of other people over you is a seed in your life. There are things people will feel to do for yo

Trust in God💯

Proverbs  3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. God made everyone to be successful. Irrespective of challenges and daunting tasks, the picture for every man from God is to be successful. God never created any man for failure, sickness, poverty, or barrenness. Yes, a man without the knowledge of God can experience all the aforementioned, however, when a man comes to know who he is in God, he makes a deliberate decision to have things changed! Solomon through the wisdom of God posits that when a man acknowledges God, his path is directed, which means the only reason a man would be anything short of being a success is because he is not being directed by God. So, what does the man do then, he allows God direct him. God is the best director, He doesn't require an Oscar to attain that😀,He has successfully directed many men of honor and substance from ancient times till now, His CV speaks for Him. So,as a man who yearns for success and the beautiful life,
