Blessed

Psalms  16:6 "The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage." A man whose connected to God has a glorious heritage. Its an ancestry of greatness. King David in the understanding of this acclaimed that the lines are fallen unto him in pleasant places because he has a goodly heritage. 'Lines' here means portions, for example, if you were to share a land with someone, and the person took a part, and then you took another part, fortunately the part you now took, you discovered gold on that part of the land, you can say "the lines fell unto you in a pleasant place", meaning your portion of the land is a blessing. This is so incredible, its clear why Isaac dug and got water in a time of famine whereas others didn't. Friend, can this be true?. Yes it is!, emphatically yes!. A man connected to God has a glorious connection that makes things work for him. I always love that verse that says,  Daniel  11:32 "... but the peop...

True Christianity

Luke  10:33 "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,.." "Spirituality" is never an immunity to the values of humanity. As a matter of fact, real spirituality respects humanity. The verse above is a part of the popular story of "the good Samaritan" . The amazing thing about this parable is that Jesus clearly gives a picture of "spirituality" and "humanity", you should read the story if you haven't read it. A priest and a levite had come earlier and saw the wounded man, and did nothing, but a Samaritan who passed by and was touched by his condition, attended to the man. Now, the Priest and Levite both represented people of God, they represented "God", so it was clear to everyone what Jesus was passing across. Likewise the Samaritan was not even one reckoned to be of God. When you study John 4, you'd find out how the Samaritans were perceived by the Jew...

The Optimist

2 Kings  7:1  "Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria ." Optimism is one very important ingredient in every progress minded person. However, certain challenges and situations often times make it seem a little tough to stay optimistic. Nevertheless, a man who stays focused on the power of God to always make situations beautiful would never regret. The scripture above tells of a time in the history of Samaria where there was such an awkward famine, one that led to even people eating each other, however during such a nebulous quagmire, the Prophet Elisha gave a word from God that by the next day, there was going to be prosperity. It was quite hard to believe to the extent that someone even doubted and said "even if God were to open the windows of Heaven it would not happen", you should read the who...

Friendship Circle

Proverbs  18:24  A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Have you ever heard someone say, "I don't have friends" or "I don't keep friends". Well, the answer to such statement is on the scriptural context above. Everything in life works with the seed principle. If you must be loved, you must sow love to others, if you must be blessed, you must bless others, if you must have friends, you must be friendly to others. The scripture above shows a man must be friendly with others to have friends. Friendship is very important, in the days of need ,you'd always need someone to rely on , or someone to rely on you. God created a social world, everyone needs somebody. No matter how valid your dreams are, you'd always need people to achieve them. Friends are important to dream fulfillment. However the fact that there are bad friends doesn't negate or nullify the importance of friendship. ...

Your ability

Philippians  4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Christ is a person and also a place. When you become a Christian, you receive a person and also at the same time, you come into a place, A place called Christ. In this place, i.e in Christ, lies all possibility and ability. You must understand as a Christian that whatever business or job you do, it must yield increase because Christ is also in that business as long as its a business that's in line with God's will. You have come to a place called Christ, this is a place where prosperity and endless possibilities are domiciled. Christ gives you the advantage and ace in your business sphere. In your job, you have the extra benefit. Nevertheless, this doesn't suggest any mindset of indolence on your path. You must put in effort to have the extra edge you have being manifest. Inculcate this mindset as you continue on your work, and know that all things are possible as long as Christ is wit...

Life Guard ❤️

Psalms  91:1 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." 91:4 "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." As a believer, one thing you must come to agreement with is truly, God protects His own. Irrespective of whatever you hear others say, you must come into the agreement that God protects His own. You know some people usually would say, "well,if there really is a God, why did He allow that woman die, why did He allow that man die", well, God loved Enoch so much that He 'took' him, what about that?, God loved Moses so much that He told Moses it was time for Him to come to Heaven, what about that?. A lot of people have associated death with wickedness from God which should not be so. God's protection isn't deficient by a man's death. In the Psalm above, the Psalmist likens the protection of God like t...

Do not journey into unbelief 🙂

Matthew  6:7 "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." Have you ever had someone tell you to do something, and you said 'no', then the person tried to convince you with much speaking afterwards, and then you probably told the person, ''dear, no matter how much convincing you do, I'm still not doing that thing ". That becomes a root decision, no longer surface, it becomes a decision you take not because of that person but because of who you are.  This is the exact scenario our scriptural context talks about. Don't find yourself journeying into unbelief, when you pray or ask God for something, don't believe talking too long about it to God will convince God to grant your request, when you ask once, believe it's done, and then stay in faith, however you can still talk about that same thing later to God not as a request but a communication of thanksgiving...
