"I LOVE LIFE!"

1 Peter 3:10-11 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

Don't you just love the phrase "love life"? You see, I love to wake up in the morning and go to bed at night saying words like "I love life!" I love to enjoy my days, I love to look back at the day, week, month, year etc and say "mahn I love my life!" In short, I love to enjoy life to its fullest! I love to love life!

This mentality has always been with me. When I made the decision in 2008 to live for Christ, I remember praying one of days and saying to God, "Lord, you know I love fun, I'm fun personified, please this journey of faith has got to be really fun!" You see I didn't know then that God was the King of enjoyment and fun! Jesus said in John 10:10(Amplified translation), The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
No one who lives an authentic Christian life should be bored or live a boring 😴 life. He brings beautiful colours 🎨and blessings into your life!

When God calls someone, He usually promises them something bigger, better and way more exciting than what they had ever wanted or imagined for themselves. To Abraham He said, "I'm going to bless you and make you a blessing, the whole world will be blessed by you!" Genesis12:2-3. And not only that, He said to him also "you're gonna have a son despite you and your wife's old age" Genesis15:4. Now, Abraham wasn't a broke man when God met Him, he was doing good in his business and was getting ready to pass it on to the next generation of faithful servants because He was getting old and didn't have a child of his own. Yet God was telling Him these exciting things would happen in His already well advanced age of 75 not minding his age or previous achievements in life.

God told him that he'd achieve things that would normally take a whole lifetime to achieve in just a few years and those things happened! Every one of the things God told him would happen happened cause Abraham dared to believe God!

Do you want to enjoy your life in 2018 and have fun every single day fulfilling God's purposes in your life? Use the opening Scripture as your guide.
1 Peter 3:10-11(The Message Translation) Whoever wants to embrace life and see the day fill up with good, Here's what you do: Say nothing evil or hurtful; Snub evil and cultivate good; run after peace for all you're worth.

Enjoying one's life is pretty simple right? First it says, "don't say evil or hurtful things". Don't talk evil about yourself or others and don't use hurtful words on others either. Practice using loving, kind, uplifting and wholesome words only, on everyone including yourself.

Secondly, it says to snub evil but rather cultivate and ensure peace. Don't listen to bad advice that try to tell you there's gain in doing bad things. Snub such advice and don't pick up fights and quarrels and disagreements either. Don't allow jealousy, hatred, envy, anger, bitterness any where around you. Get rid of bad vibes and keep em out of your world. Always turn the table and insist on good and peace and joy and blessings in your world and you'll be amazed how beautifully the year would turn out!
Have a lovely year of 2018!!!

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He

Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this. The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that wayπŸ˜ΆπŸ˜‡. When we were done with the project that brought us together, I offered to take us to an icecream spot- it would probably be the last time we were seeing so it was my way of saying "thanks". There I told her how I had felt about her when I first saw her and she was somewhat unsurprised and sa

#perfectlovechallenge

Wow! While studying the Bible yesterday I was presented a challenge by God and had to get the PLB team involved asap. Check out the Scripture below. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Did you see that word? The one most of us dread and consider totally impractical is featured in this Scripture... right there as the 8th and 23rd words πŸ˜ƒ. But really do you think it is really possible to practise "perfect" love? Pls comment below and let the world know! I know the word "PERFECT" scares the crap outta people but when God says "perfect" is possible then it means we are entirely fashioned within and without to do it. There's absolutely no reservation in this Scripture as regards whether or not it is possible to be "perfect" in love in this transient world! I think it's safe to say that it is possible to be perfect (fully mat
