Humanity

Luke  10:33 "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,.."

"Spirituality" is never an immunity to the values of humanity. As a matter of fact, real spirituality respects humanity. The verse above is a part of the popular story of "the good Samaritan" . The amazing thing about this parable is that Jesus clearly gives a picture of "spirituality" and "humanity", you should read the story if you haven't read it. A priest and a levite had come earlier and saw the wounded man, and did nothing, but a Samaritan who passed by and was touched by his condition, attended to the man. Now, the Priest and Levite both represented people of God, they represented "God", so it was clear to everyone what Jesus was passing across. Likewise the Samaritan was not even one reckoned to be of God. When you study John 4, you'd find out how the Samaritans were perceived by the Jews. The Samaritans weren't seen as godly people, yet this was the same class of people Jesus explained good deeds with.

I honestly have seen " godly" people who should have value for humanity treat others bad. Sometimes, some even pray so much, yet, their attitude towards others can't just be comprehended for good. As a person, no matter how much "faith" you carry or "spirituality" you possess, if another man's need doesn't touch you, you're empty. You must love in word and in deed, this in itself is the definition of being spiritual. Look out IMMENSELY for others.

Proverbs  16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Most people tell others about their plans first even before they remember to tell God". It's so true, I've found out most times people have opinions, but God never has an opinion, God has direction. People have opinions, God has direction. While speaking with a friend yesterday, she recalled how some people had tried to talk her down/out from doing something, and I felt well, people always have opinions, and like David Ologbonori, a life-coach posited, " Opinions are cheap, they are everywhere, and they can be wrong". While I thought about the fact that sometimes people tell others about their plans before God, I thought to myself "why should a man inform others about what he wants to do even before the waymaker Himself?"😏. This doesn't mean you can't talk to "destiny-helpers", or " dreams investors ", but it has to do with who you give p...

PLB Editorial- Confessions 201

Just a few words... James 3:2-3(Amplified translation) For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature. If we set bits in the horses' mouths to make them obey us, we can turn their whole bodies about. We must never disesteem the power of words, we can steer our lives (our entire course of existence) in the direction we choose with our words. The Scripture above claims that if (and it's possible) we can master our tongue (master words), then we are a perfect and fully developed spiritual entity able to determine the circumstances and results of our being. Mehn! Use words rightly on yourself and others and watch your life beam with incredible supernatural radiance. You can proclaim the words below: I live a supernatural life everyday I am in the class of almighty G...

www.theinnercitymission.ngo/donate This isn't a season of hurricanes floods and natural disasters, nope, it's not. This is a season of love, a season where our affections must be compelled enough to help those in need of our help. A season where devastation meets an overwhelming force of love ❤ and help. This is not the season to stand quiet and watch "others" do the helping. It's a season for us (you and me) to be the saviours in others lives and show them that God loves and cares for them. We preach the gospel of Jesus but no one preached it better than Jesus Himself who went about doing good and helping people get out of their problems and predicaments. The PLB is glad to announce to you that we're now in Partnership with www.theinnercitymission.ngo/donate .
