Accommodate

13-15 "One day children were brought to Jesus in the hope that he would lay hands on them and pray over them. The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus intervened: “Let the children alone, don’t prevent them from coming to me. God’s kingdom is made up of people like these.” After laying hands on them, he left."(MSG)

Though the verse above is mostly associated with Jesus talking about the kind of people the Kingdom of God is made up of. However, one important aspect we often overlook is Jesus was also teaching about 'receptiveness' and 'accommodation' here. Sometimes too many people out of 'fame' become unnecessarily hostile towards others. Some even maintain, they are being protected by security from harm, well, protection from harm doesn't equate being hostile towards people. I maintain Jesus was/is the most famous man to walk the face of the Earth, yet He showed a very accommodating demeanor. It also comes to those who sometimes feel too busy for just anybody. Well, while your time is precious, it should never be too precious to accommodate others sometimes. Some people might not be doing anything at that time, yet when approached by someone maybe to preach the gospel to them or Jehovah's witnesses, they say ''Please, I don't have time", isn't it funny people seem not to 'have time' when everything seems to be going good, but when there's a fix, you definitely would want to have time for everyoneπŸ˜…. Don't be too 'busy' to accommodate people, some people have sent Angels away unawares, don't forget the scriptures says "...do not forget to entertain strangers for some have entertained Angels unawares".  Are we saying "don't have preference for your time"?. Oh no, but you must have an accomodating spirit.

Do have a restful weekend ahead

Proverbs  16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Most people tell others about their plans first even before they remember to tell God". It's so true, I've found out most times people have opinions, but God never has an opinion, God has direction. People have opinions, God has direction. While speaking with a friend yesterday, she recalled how some people had tried to talk her down/out from doing something, and I felt well, people always have opinions, and like David Ologbonori, a life-coach posited, " Opinions are cheap, they are everywhere, and they can be wrong". While I thought about the fact that sometimes people tell others about their plans before God, I thought to myself "why should a man inform others about what he wants to do even before the waymaker Himself?"😏. This doesn't mean you can't talk to "destiny-helpers", or " dreams investors ", but it has to do with who you give p...

PLB Editorial- Confessions 201

Just a few words... James 3:2-3(Amplified translation) For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature. If we set bits in the horses' mouths to make them obey us, we can turn their whole bodies about. We must never disesteem the power of words, we can steer our lives (our entire course of existence) in the direction we choose with our words. The Scripture above claims that if (and it's possible) we can master our tongue (master words), then we are a perfect and fully developed spiritual entity able to determine the circumstances and results of our being. Mehn! Use words rightly on yourself and others and watch your life beam with incredible supernatural radiance. You can proclaim the words below: I live a supernatural life everyday I am in the class of almighty G...

PLB Foundation: Benue Flood Victims Donations

www.theinnercitymission.ngo/donate This isn't a season of hurricanes floods and natural disasters, nope, it's not. This is a season of love, a season where our affections must be compelled enough to help those in need of our help. A season where devastation meets an overwhelming force of love ❤ and help. This is not the season to stand quiet and watch "others" do the helping. It's a season for us (you and me) to be the saviours in others lives and show them that God loves and cares for them.
