Be accommodating.

Hebrews  13:2  "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

Some people are often clouded with the habit of being nice to just who they know, some even say "the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know", even if it's used in a figurative context, it's still ironically hilarious๐Ÿ˜…, the very fact he's been declared 'the devil' makes him worse than 'the angel' you don't know already. The scripture above gives God's perfect mindset to our daily relationship with the outside world. It says 'BE NOT FORGETFUL to ENTERTAIN STRANGERS', it then says for some have entertained ANGELS UNAWARES. Did you see that?, the Bible shows that the 'Angel' you do not know would always be better than the 'devil' you know. As a Person who walks in God's stead, you must be nice to everyone, you must entertain strangers, 'entertain strangers' doesn't mean to naively call everyone into your house to entertain or allow every Tom,Dick and Harry into your house. 'Entertain' here means to be receptiveness. Do not be someone whose always cold to people by default. Always wear a smile on your face as you approach people or you are approached. You know some people are so cold to Jehovah's witness folks just because they feel they are some sort of 'disturbance' most often than not. But, as a person, I have always welcomed Jehovah's witness folks with such embrace always even if we have different views. I even made friends out of some in the long run. Love knows no belief, or ideology. As a person of God, you must be nice & easily receptive. More so, there's a seeming perspective of believing everyone who walks up to you wants to beg for money, don't be that way, give people a listening hear, don't be a snub by default, Jesus never exhibited such. Do have a great day ahead.๐Ÿ˜….

Apostle Peter- Running 1

A blend of Bible stories, revelations and fiction (literature license) about Peter's life and somewhat complex choices and decisions. Sit back, relax, cappuccino and enjoy! And Peter was running again, away from the persecution that had once again broken out against the Church. Jesus had been long gone. He missed Him. He still had nostalgia and goose bumps whenever he remembered just how divine Jesus was. He had seen Jesus do a lot of amazing miracles but none quite like the last one- he and his other folks, some 50 of them watched as Jesus levitated into the heavens until no physical eyes could see him again. He said He was going to heaven and of course that was true- Peter knew now by deep conviction that he'd walked with God Himself. And for some reason he thought himself a friend of God. He knew he was going to see Jesus again sometime soon. There was no debate in his heart about this. He loved Jesus or perhaps God- they were one and the same persons to him now. He

Going on to know Him

People easily judge other people when they don't know them. We all may be guilty of this. A Lotta times, we stereotype people by how they look, their dressing and outward mannerisms ever before we hear them speak. I have been shocked many times of how guilty I've been with this. The most recent of such a person I nearly badly stereotyped turned out to be such an incredible person, so different and special in her way and she helped me in many beautiful ways such that we became pretty cool friends in the space of just a few months but this was the same lady I almost thought was way away from my type of friends. We've all made such mistakes so don't look at me that way๐Ÿ˜ถ๐Ÿ˜‡. When we were done with the project that brought us together, I offered to take us to an icecream spot- it would probably be the last time we were seeing so it was my way of saying "thanks". There I told her how I had felt about her when I first saw her and she was somewhat unsurprised and sa

PLB GUEST- He solved the sin problem for good!- Jide Akinlua (Epistle of Grace Publications)

He solved the sin problem for good.. 1 John 2:2 ( MSG) The most awesome demonstration of God's loving affection towards a rebellious and fallen human race is the fact that God added humanity to His deity, lived among sinful men and ultimately died the most ghastly death for our sins. I think once in a while we need to be reminded of how guilty we were before God and what would have become of us if Jesus never came. That gruesome death of being crucified on the cross was our death—Yes, we deserved that. To be Crucified, in the ancient Roman world, was considered the most undignifying way to die. In point of fact, crucifixion was  reserved for those who were considered to be outright criminals. The Romans considered it a shame while the Jews saw it as a curse! Yet Jesus who never sinned and never committed a crime was sentenced to die the death of a criminal. Oh! Sweet Jesus! He didn't have to take these suffering and punishment for our sins upon himself but love compelled Hi
